An exciting move...
The "move" in the title does not refer to a company change or change in physical location. It refers to a martial arts move.
You all must have seen Akshay Kumar or Jackie Chan do this in the movies. It starts with the hero being thrown down by one of the bad guys, and he lands on his back on the floor. Now, the real action heroes dont get up in the normal person style or even the way Arnold gets up after being thrown through the glass in Terminator.... they curl in their legs, kick out fast, propelling their body up and landing on their feet, without apparently using their hands or legs or any other support - in the process, scaring the baddies and impressing the audience.
I taught myself how to do this many years ago, but I never knew what its called (first guess - kick out - wrong). So, when I wanted to search for videos of an advanced version of this move - which is used in some dance styles, I had to struggle a bit. The search terms "kick, leg, back, floor, stand" returned kickboxing and motorcycle websites. But finally after various tries using different descriptive terms and going through 40 search results on wikipedia, Success!
Its called Kip-up and the advanced one is called Rubberband/Back to Back. A youtube search produced what I was looking for... and it was so cool, I thought you guys might like it too. Here it is...
